Are they true to size?
Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me.
Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
Are they comfortable?
Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in..
How durable are they?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is one of a kind. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.
Would you recommend them?
Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
